Association of Iranica in Australasia Incorporated is a non-profit, non-partisan and non-religious organisation that promotes the heritage of Iran and Persian culture as well as related research. The AIA was established in 2004, in Sydney. It is committed to building public awareness about the vast contribution of Persian civilisation to the collective human experience. The Association does this through forums, public lectures, conferences, performances, and exhibitions. The Association pursues its aims with the support of the academic, literary, and artistic communities. The AIA also     promotes and encourages ongoing scholarly studies on aspects of Iranian and Persianate cultural heritage, by younger students and PhD scholars.
